Wow! I like the detail put into this! The monster hunter wikis only provide a brief summary, physical description, and combat information. And while that's enough for people who are playing the games, it's not so good for people who want more details.

Truly excellent writing. The science is correct for the most part (almost completely), all scientific terms were used correcly as far as I can tell, however, animals are only part of on clave, not several (not complaining, just thiught you should know. Are there going to be more chapters.

Recently, 'Subspecies' of Raths and Lagiacrus are often considered as distinct and different species from each other. but Abyssal Lagiacrus are considered simply as a very old speciman of Moga and Ivory lagiacrus. there also is a sighting of Moga lagiacrus in Continent Astera.

Loved the new chapter but it's pelsioth so... F plesioth in his god forsaken A**! and could please do a Nargacuga one the are one of the most "realistic" monster in game

Now this, this was the kind of thing I expected when I bought my first in-game hunter notes back in MH 1 (needless to say I disappointed). I just have one question.

Why hasn’t Capcom started throwing money at you?

I am afraid to say but some of this information is a little out of date. As for instance, the Rath chapter has no information on the Dread subspecies. I can just write this off as lack of information, but as a scholar you must be as up to date on this information more now than ever. But minus that hiccup, this is a good resource all hunters should use.

I'd would love to see one of either Rajang or Deviljho after all both make even the most experienced hunters nervous just from their sheer brutality and aggression... and not to seem like I'm nagging but Barioth babies are born live not from eggs this link shows it and have some extras too wiki/Minor_Monsters

Well, an interesting chapter on Kirin. Slightly surprised that Seregios isn't a predator though, with it's ability to launch scales and cause the Kirin to bleed out fatal amounts of blood.

Impressive work as always. You really make sure to cover everything when you do a monster. I noticed how you mentioned the running method of Barioths, which is seen in-game - that stuck out the most to me, but all the other details were just as fun and informative to read.

On a side note, I'm having a blast with MH Generations. Here's hoping you are too!

I'm pleased to see that I recognize a good portion of these terms. I'm aware that most of those that I didn't recognize were probably made up, but if there are any that are actual terms, then I'm equally pleased to have learned a few new things!
