Very well done. I really missed Danny in this episode but I was happy that they at least mentioned him and acknowledged his existence. So sad to think there will be four more episodes without Danny. The show is not the same without him. Saw an interview with Alex O'Loughlin and even he said that it wasn't the same when Scott wasn't around - that he missed him when he's not there.I'm happy for Scott to have so many things going on but it's a bummer for H50. As for your one-shot, I really enjoyed it. Watching the ep I could just imagine Danny's reaction to Steve meeting yet another of his fave players when he wasn't there. This put such a sad twist to it. Thanks for sharing.

That was awesome. I missed Danny too, in the last episode. I am so glad you wrote this little one shot coda, because it really was perfect. Especially glad you brought up Matt, no way can Danny ever get that out of his mind. Every anniversery is a painful reminder of what happened, what could have been. Thank goodness Steve came to deliver the autograph and see how his partner was doing. Love those moments. Love the Danny and Steve bromance and friendship.

Well written. I liked the focus on Danny and his turmoil in amongst all the other things in his life. As always, Steve is looking out for his friend.
