This last scene is so damn sweet, someone teaching Hiccup an adult thing so he can become a dad, giving him a chance. And both Fiske and Ingrid refusing to let him be selfdestructive is wonderful. They are not having any BS now!

This is still one of the best 'what if' story I've ever read. The way you so perfectly nailed the characters, the depth you keep adding to them, the evolution of their feelings and of the story itself. It's just pure gold !
