This pissed me the fuck off. Muscle memory is 100% mental, not physical. I don't know where people bloody get the "oh it's in the muscles, because they obviously have memory, and a brain," fucking hell. I know your not going to fix this considering how many chapters in you are, but in future stories, remember this. Muscle memory is mental, not physical. Your brain sends the signals, and your body moves to those signals, not the other way around.

Hashirama and Madara inherited the CHAKRA of Asura and Indra respectively. ONLY THE CHAKRA. Naruto and Sasuke are the REINCARNATIONS of Asura and Indra respectively (including the chakra). The mind and soul and chakra of the brothers are the mind and soul and chakra of Naruto and Sasuke. Hashirama and Madra only had the chakra and nothing else, they were not reincarnations. There also never were any reincarnations of the brothers before Naruto and Sasuke, though other people in history had inherited the chakra before Hashirama and Madara.

The theme of hard work overcoming talent also only applies to Rock Lee. He is the only character that actually exemplifies the themes that resonated so powerfully in the original work. The Naruto vs Neji fight sucks in cannon as much as it usually sucks in fanfiction because the misrepresented theme of the fight. Naruto is one of the characters that least represents the theme espoused, only trumped on that field by the characters whose plot armor comes in the form of literal giant suits of armor. I can't tell is Sussanoo is the most genius implementation of plot armor ever or not.
