Good until the end of chapter 1. You messed up. She was NEVER marked in Canon. The reason being it would kill her. Being an Uzumaki would not save her. The people who live though the marking have strong will to live or complete a very important goal. Orochimaru has to be there in person to mark someone. His snake summons can NOT do it. Kills the story there. Also the mark must be on the body, neck or head. Arms, hands, legs and feet are pointless. Any of those places and it could (most likely would) be cut off. With no chakra in the mark it would fade then the limb could be reattached.

Sealing is a difficult and dying art. with only Jiraiya as the sealing master left in konoha. it doesn't matter if they can copy paste the contents, if they don't understand it, it won't work. not to mention it is considered the language of the gods as results and styles varies in each person. that's why Minato had a different formula than Tobirama's hiraishin, he need to make it his own version to fit him. Basically, if a seal master is inspired by someone else work, they need to completely rework it for it to work on themselves or their clan. unless it's just the basic ones. as far as I know, sealing is unpredictable as fuck, that's why it's rarely use by anyone not a master. unless it's just the basic ones.

Loving the story so far, & just had to drop a comment that your doing amazing with Shizune, she was so underutilized in the series and her talents never got to shine compared to Tsunade and Sakura’s. We got to see all the other Sannin students surpass there master’s except Shizune and kind of Anko (although the argument could be made that she wasn’t his apprentice as long as others)

just a random thought... does anybody else feel like the pairing between jiraya and Tsunade is the worst...or maybe it's just me who hates jirayas guts...I HATE the third,jiraya,kakashi,Minato nd Sakura

1. Hiruzen I HATE because his a hypocrite who no matter how much he said he loved Naruto never went above the norm to help him even by just telling him abt his parents

2. jiraya I HATE because he was entrusted by both Minato and Kushina to look after Naruto yet he did not ...but instead went chasing after orochimaru like a gay fucking lover chasing his crush yet making excuses like he was 'spying on potential threats yet he ain't even make time for Naruto untill he was almost 13

3. kakashi I HATE because he was close to both Minato and Kushina they treated him like their own child and yet he too spent most of his like avoiding any contact with Naruto and the only reason they even got to talking is because he was in his team

4. minato I really really really HATE with a passion .. who gave him the right to put such a burden on Naruto and not even prepare some kind of apology or instructions ..I'm pretty sure he could have made a shadow clone to sort shit out... and he has the guts to die nd with a Fucking smile on his face for a smart genius he really was an idiot... then u get the fact he literally fucked up NARUTO'S uzumaki potential with his dumb civilian genes.

Naruto is who I HATE the most how can naruto never even wonder once if he had a clan but his here doing shits for giggles... loud for shit proclaiming to become Hokage like there isn't any other goal to achieve like finding his lost clans man, learning the art of his predecessors you know like live up to ur family name ... he met two of them and still never even bothered with anything else...I mean Karin was there in the village and all he could think about the whole time was his fucking gay ass lover sasuke who always tried to kill you dude I don't care if he changed at the end people don't just change their views on life because they got beat and told things they already knew all along

I hate that Naruto is just accepting that they kept these secrets from him...a kid who's been looking for family his whole life ... excuses like I didn't tell you because u were not old enough to know about ur mother or about ur father as if in the whole of the leaf village those two were the only ones who killed and fought in the war...you don't see assassin's coming after shikamaru,Ino,Sasuke or any other clan heads and I hate that the third hokage made such a stupid thing like preventing anyone from telling Naruto abt his family it was never for naruto's it was so the village doesn't get attention on its self it was always abt the village because even minato and Kushina never said he should keep them a secret from naruto ... nd everybody knows naruto always keeps his promises so why not just make him promise not to tell anyone abt his parents...nd if you think about it no body told Naruto abt his parents they were content on leaving him like that

People are helping Naruto train. But results are the same. He isn't improving any faster than in canon.

From the way your story is going I can tell that Naruto is going to become a nuisance at best. He was better in canon actually.

You should be proud of the work you have wrought here. This story is excellent! The works building (which is something I appreciate more than anything else in a story) is amazing and detailed. Your characterization is different enough to be engaging, your plot lines are creative and unique.
The masks and how they are connected to Noh folklore is worthy of particular note. It was fun to research that and your different masks and their identities and abilities are creative and engaging to the plot.
I also give particular note the your descriptions in battles, which are unique and artfully avoid the pitfalls of laboriously conveying every detail, and your descriptions of chakra and its uses and applications are beautiful to read.
One last note is Sakura’s use of genjutsu in battle, which was very well done. Few are able to write that well, but you managed it and then some.
If you update this, I look forward to what comes next. If not, it was still a joy to read. May your muse never waver!
