I really, really loved it. Name issue, no name issue, because I do think he'd choke at naming her if he loved her, how could he not? I think that Yukine might have intervened at some point, as his extra special shinki. He'd have to be so careful about "the god's greatest secret" thing to avoid losing her again... although I wonder if she, as Hiyori would lose her shit and go nuts or just be like, oh, okay yeah, I figured something like this might happen one day... Just given her odd state and heavy involvement. That's just my rambling speculation that I hope they address, I really adored your work.

I think her name suits very well! I love this very very much because I was imagining what it would be like if she were his regalia. If you ever add onto this I will definitely read it! I imagined if she were to regain her memories and be able to overcome the pain of her death, but because her memories are gained she would remember Yato and Yukine and probably use "jungle savate" on Yato for letting her die, but would still move forward with them.

This was such a beautiful story. I would look forward to a continuation if you want to make a sequel. Thank you for writing this little gem~.

Reading about Yato suffering so much, breaks my heart a lot despite being a sadist (the irony of being one, all thanks to a certain Okita). Hiyori, my child...she's alive and her saying she wants to protect them too makes me go aw~ Hopefully it won't bite on Yato one day...he's suffered enough already.

But I'm confused at Hiyori's Regalia name. I'm pretty sure that Regalia's name should be in onyomi (Chinese reading), not kunyomi (Japanese reading). I think her Regalia name should be Ukki if you used the character 羽. I don't think that character also can be read as 'hiyo' too since the naming of a Regalia should only have one character.

Beautiful writing. I love that you didn't romanticize this scenario, you made it just as heartbreaking as would be in canon. It's so bittersweet, my heart actually aches a bit. Amazing job!
