Reviews for Amaranthine
Iridescent Moonflower chapter 1 . 10/10/2019
Usually I'm not too fond of Hiyori/Yato, but this was beautifully written and I loved your exploration of reincarnation.
wercrazybesties4lyf chapter 1 . 5/28/2019

WolfieRed23 chapter 1 . 5/19/2016
Oh my goodness, this is like the third time I've read this story and I've fallen in love with it all over again. Along with that, thank you for introducing me to the Tsukuyomi theory, I really hope it's true! And I love how you write the past incarnations, how Hiyori always knows he's there, how Yato doesn't give up until it's practically knocked out of him only to have it come back the instant he catches a glimpse of her reincarnation and how you explained Hiyori's reaction to the first moment she, in her current life, saw Yato! Gosh, it's just so perfect that I wish it was true! If you could, please write something else in this universe because the way you wrote this is just beautiful!
Kazahana Yukina chapter 1 . 2/7/2016
I must say that this is on the top of my most loved Noragami fanfiction. I don't usually reread stories that much, but your work made me break tradition. haha.

I loved how you started your opening sentence with something that will make the readers curious enough to go reading the whole thing. (That, or it's just my personal preference) and its wonderful how the story can play inside imagination without using too much words. I'm personally not familiar with the Tsukiyomi theory when I first read this so the appearance of Yuki slightly confused me, but you worded it in a way that made me understand quickly. There were parts where I smiled like a crazy kid in love, got sad, angry and blank like 'wut?' but I loved the whole story in itself and the way it went beyond the trope of "a god and a girl". I really hope you make more stories of Noragami (this Yatoless world needs more! haha!) and please do keep inspiring people to write better.

Have a good day! _
ilarual chapter 1 . 1/22/2016
Oh goodness, this was beautiful. Stumbling across your profile has been a godsend for both my Fraxus and my Noragami feelings, apparently. I've adored the Tsukuyomi theory since the moment I stumbled across it and it always delights me to see people writing it into fic, especially as thoughtfully as you've done. (Incidentally, may I know your source for the fact that Iki City was the location of the first Tsukuyomi shrine? Not that I doubt your knowledge but I do try to avoid that internet groupthink pitfall of not verifying sources lol.)

But enough about that. This is magnificent and you had my heart clenching over and over again with how beautifully thought-out this is. There's a subtlety in this fic that a series with as much nuance as Noragami deserves from its fandom. Thank you for this.
Jeice Lover chapter 1 . 1/6/2016
Oh my gosh, this was a really wonderful story. I love how you made that gradual change to each succeeding generation, really showing the connection that Yato would hold to this line of women, even when they're separated. And seeing how him and his different reincarnations just love them all in so many different ways. I've always loved the 'Yato is Tsukuyomi' theory, and you've done a lovely job with it here. Really very well done~
Rahxe1182 chapter 1 . 12/5/2015

deviedra chapter 1 . 12/1/2015
Oh my god...

THIS IS SO GOOD *-*

I love how you drag it out through the past centuries/incarnations to show how long the love stays true 3
TheTacticalFishMedic chapter 1 . 11/24/2015
This was beautiful. Now, I think in the summary you were implying a stereotype, right? It was portrayed perfectly. I love this and actually it's inspiring me to write. I'm gonna go do that now, bye!
Guest chapter 1 . 11/24/2015
Beautiful T.T
Love the TrashDad cameo!
Guest chapter 1 . 11/16/2015
Beautiful story!
I didn't know what 'amaranthine' meant but after searching that up, I also really like the title. Everlasting, for Yato and Hiyori's forever intertwined bond, and whether or not you did it on purpose it surprisingly also means a purplish/red color. (Though Hiyori's eyes are more pink than solid purple... close enough.)
Your take on the Tsukuyomi theory was also very interesting. I loved reading this fic, overall. Great job. :)
