| Mimeomia chapter 42 . 1/27 Well, this was both cringy and edgy. It's not the first time I see a scene where the MC keeps on 'fighting' against 'gamer mind' but I don't like it, it's just forcing cheap drama and angst that has no place in a gamer story. I don't remember a single instance of the original having this problem. Muted emotion sure but nothing like this. The way I see it, gamer's mind/body are an absolute. You don't see GB failing because the MC receives too much damage. But you are acting as if the MC feeling too much is enough to fight GM. If GM is capable of fighting specialized mind jutsus then 'extra emotions' shouldn't be able to do anything to it. That's why it feels like forced drama to me. |
