Okay, let me start with I just read this whole story in the last the 2 days. I love his story. I hope your not finished with it. I can't believe I never saw it before now. Possibly the best fanfic of harley quinn before she became harley quinn

This is amazingly interesting already!

It's not very often it takes me a while to write a review for a chapter, I tend to write them as I read so my natural feelings are noted immediately, but this one had me so engrossed and captured I'm struggling to write something.

What I can at least write is how much I am loving your idea of Joker's background; very, VERY few people have touched upon his childhood and actually pulled it off (I can think of two stories of the thousands I have read that have stayed with me regarding such a subject) you can officially be added to this list.

It took a moment to realise the point of the chapter, I did honestly get a little confused at first but soon realised what was happening as the story progressed and it became clear it was a flashback scenario for Joker/Jack. A very sad one too, your chosen character deaths, foster family giving him a second chance and the gangster boss "stealing" his life away were beautifully written and came together to perform a masterpiece of writing.

I am greatly looking forward to your future chapters even more so than before now, wondering if this scenario will ever come up in the topic of discussion between Joker and Harleen. But also, if Harleen will manage to bring out the same smile Amelia once managed to do.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy this story. Your probably the only author who hasn't rushed their relationship and I like that, and keep up the good work.

This story is absolutely fucking awesome, I'm so glad I found your DA as I'll be more than happy to provide motivation and reviews! Although I will write a longer post covering the previous 14 chapters when I get the opportunity (probably the weekend) to read them again I will at least post this review now.

I will add before the review itself, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP. This story WILL start getting reviews and trust me there are thousands of people out there reading it and just not reviewing (a message to you lurkers - at least say you're enjoying it, these authors work their asses off, give them some credit!) But with the release of Suicide Squad the number of fan fiction readers is going through the roof and they're gonna be flocking here once they read just how damn good this story is.

And in that respect, the review!

I'm LOVING how descriptive you are with this generic day (well, apart from being Christmas) for Harleen, the simplicity of her routine has really helped to bond with how innocent and normal she is before the Joker's grip takes over and she becomes Harley. The gift from the Joker was hilarious, it actually made me laugh out loud at the sheer thought of that happening which in a quiet office is a really bad idea, oh well! Then the choice of her gift and making him a roast dinner was just beyond adorable for words.

The fact she was almost pulled back into the cell was a fantastic nod to the fact she's starting to slip and although she is normal when not around her Puddin' she's starting to loose herself when just in the same room as him.

You've nailed the characteristics and personalities of both, I'm especially loving your version of the Joker and his more Hamill style behaviours and traits. Can't wait to see where you take this for future chapters and hope you continue writing as your "BIG plans ahead" sound as phenomenal and fun as this chapter alone!
