I love your James/Narcissa work!

I thought this was a really cute story. I like how you included the dialogue prompt. It seemed so natural and realistic and I can completely see James teasing Narcissa (or anyone really) about saying something like that. Narcissa was written really well, and I found it interesting that you had James and Narcissa on good terms with each other. It was a nice little story that I really enjoyed reading. I might just have to read more.

Augh, that was really sad D: I imagine Narcissa's life was already pretty much ruined when she was forced to marry Lucius, but James's death must have completely broken her. It seems like in this one-shot she's so distraught that she's kind of starting to imagine things...like the flower glowing and James communicating with her from beyond the grave! Poor thing D:

Love the parallel between Regulus and Draco! It makes sense that Narcissa would care so much for Regulus, since he was one of the few people in her family who wasn't completely blindsighted by the whole "pureblood supremacy" thing, and so he was one of the few people she could really relate with. I can definitely understand why Narcissa would partially blame James for Regulus's death, since he did nothing to help her convince Regulus to not become a Death Eater. It's sad that James didn't live long enough to see Narcissa's brave Gryffindor side. I'm sure he would've been proud to see her doing something so selfless and dangerous for the sake of family. Man, these feels are too much :(
I really do encourage you to finish this, I've really enjoyed it so far and I'd love to see more of these holiday-themed one-shots :) I like how they provide small but insightful glimpses into James and Narcissa's lives, and now they all come together to form a bigger story.

Hmmm...never thought of Bellatrix as the type who would be involved in a sport like quiddich, but it suits her nicely. And with Andromeda being the most level-headed person in the family, it makes sense that she would be good at Wizard Chess. Their talents suit them perfectly! Interesting idea that Narcissa would want something to set her apart from her sisters. And she really lets those "dumb blonde" stereotypes get to her, it seems XD Ice skating is certainly a good match for her, being as refined and graceful as she is. I love how James admires her self-determination and tells her he always knew she could do it. Arrogant and boastful as he is, James has no trouble being a sweet boyfriend!

Never thought of James as being the charitable type, but this little snippet nicely highlights some of his more kind and noble characteristics that he tries to hide underneath being the "quiddich star" and "troublemaker" and whatnot. He certainly was not prejudiced like pureblood elitists and he always stood up for his friends. Maybe that's part of why Narcissa is so drawn to him-he's the opposite kind of pureblood than she is, being super rowdy and outspoken and not giving a crap about his reputation, who he associates with, or "blood purity." I imagine James was the one who made Narcissa rethink everything her family had always told her, and how just because you were pureblood didn't mean you had to succumb to their stereotypical snobbish lifestyle. And hey, opposites attract! Heh, maybe that's why I ship Jamissa as hard as I do.

I love jealousy stories so this was right up my alley. I loved Narcissa's reason for hating the color red. It's common when someone is jealous of someone with a unique hair color, they start hating that color.
They tell themselves they hate that person and everything about that person.
One of the sentences sounds a bit awkward:
'And in truth in someway she did, but...'
It might have helped to add a comma after 'truth' and with the way you used 'someway,' it should have been two words.
Everything else was great, though.
Loved the whole Narcissa and James as friends before Hogwarts and the two of them, along with Sirius, getting in trouble. Narcissa should be an honorary Marauder.

Ahhhhh, what a wonderful AU you described! I loved every part of it, and I wish so badly it were canon! Man, would the series be different, but it would still be so good! I like to think that in this AU Harry would have blue eyes instead of green so that he can still have his mother's eyes :D Also, I love love LOVE the idea of Harry and Draco being twins! I feel like they would be the sort of twins who would fight constantly and have a really strong rivalry like their canon counterparts, except that there would also be an element of caring for each other deep down (although I suppose THAT exists in canon as well, if you're a Drarry shipper XD).
Lol funny you should bring up DracoxLuna, my roommate was going on and on the other day about how much she shipped them and she didn't think anyone else noticed the ship XD It's an interesting pairing, to be sure! Also EEEEEEE I SHIP CALLISTAXCHARLIE SO HARDDDDD! Like I barely know anything about Callista but I feel like they would be the PERFECT couple! Oh damn...that went downhill fast D: But ugh, I know how Narcissa feels. My last boyfriend had a crush on another girl the entire time he was dating me, and that shit sucks. No wonder Narcissa's feelings are hurt! Maybe it's time that they both re-evaluate their relationship before continuing to just mindlessly make out.
And wow James, you dun gone and made it worse, dude! I do wonder what he ended up saying in response to that, and what his actual reasons for dating Narcissa are. Maybe another one-shot about that is in store?

Lol I love the subtle cousin rivalry going on between Sirius and Narcissa XD Also interesting that Sirius feels so annoyed that the Potters are changing Christmas up a bit for Narcissa's sake. I guess it's because they've become like a second family to him, and their traditions have become something to distract him from his actual family and make him feel like he belongs. Also, clever how in the past they've always decorated the tree in Gryffindor colors and now they're replacing one with a Slytherin color because of Narcissa!

I like this cheerful AU where James and Narcissa are actually able to be together without Narcissa's parents causing drama about it! Also since Andromeda is there, I'm thinking this might be in an AU where she never got disowned by the family...a happy AU all around! Wow, Narcissa is truly the dream girlfriend, to get her boyfriend something THAT expensive! Every guy dreams about having a girl like that XD At the end I couldn't tell if Narcissa was genuinely mad or if she was just teasing James. From Andromeda's response, it sounded like she was teasing. Either way, I hope James gets the message and gets up off his ass and gets her something!

This was a cute little drabble. I noticed an issue with tenses. You changed from past to present and then back to past one time:
'She lifted her head up above the crowd, to find her cousin and his friends. Narcissa finds them by the counter in a corner, and she quickly went the opposite way.'
Other than that, this was a well written opening chapter for your Christmas collection.
I think it makes sense that James and Narcissa knew each other as kids since all Pure-bloods seem to be related by marriage, and maybe they were even friends.
James's comment about seeing her excited and happy was also very sweet, and I detect a bit of a crush in the past.

This focuses really well on Narcissa's enormous devotion to her family. I like how you combined Narcissa's feelings for Regulus (who is like a son to her) with her sacrifice for her son years later.

There are a few spelling mistakes in this ("struck up" should be "stuck up," "being disown" should be "being disowned," and "her pleads" should be "her pleas.")

Other than that, this was a nice look at Narcissa's motivations. I especially find believable the idea that Regulus's death was what drove a divide between herself and James.
