| Castle4Eva chapter 6 . 3/15/2017 Now I might have a new favorite story of yours. Pretzel was a favorite book of mine as a child, and I currently own a red male and black & tan female miniature dachshund (alas not named Pretzel and Greta). Somehow I knew when Castle started asking Beckett what her favorite breed was, that you would chose dachshund. I was almost floored when you referenced Pretzel, since it is a bit obscure. Thank you - this was wonderful. By the way, when I saw the box was 8x8, I initially thought, "Did he get her some kind of collar?" but then thought, no, it's not that kind of story. ;) |

Have to say, though, I was getting concerned bordering on upset at the idea that Castle left poor Pretzel alone in his loft like that. You just don't do that to a puppy, especially on its first day in a new home! Glad that it was only a short time. Loved Beckett's, if you'll forgive the phrase, girl-ish reaction to the show. I'd love to see that for real - she'd be so cute! Onward! |
| allanab05 chapter 6 . 9/13/2016 I read this again today and, of course, I adore it. It made me think of two things. One, pretzels would be a nice snack right now. And, two, I wish you could see a picture of my dog, Drax. He's a dachshund/min pin mix with red hair. A little ginger ninja. You're awesome. Can we be friends? LOL! |
