a very sad story ...

I felt every emotion in this story and was touched. I loved the ending and Sabe's friendship and love for Padme.

Sobbing. This was so good, but it hurt so much. This gives so much meaning to that dress and it makes it her death so final, heartbreaking, and beautiful. Loved this.

Sith, Gemmmma you're a sith! Padme' funeral scene was regal, serene, beautiful, tragic and heartbreaking and now I read your fic about her dress! Sith, I cried! I wish another movie of Anakin and Padme with Hayden and Natalie of course.. After watching all the SW I can't get over their sad story. I'm obsess and I want a happy ending!
Hey, imagine A suit less Vader vs Anakin. They fight themselves physically and fights for Padme's heart only she can't pick bec. She loves them both!

Wow. Just wow. I thought my heart was broken when I read in an article that the costume designer did have the lake in mind when she created Padme's dress. That not only was it a reminder of the place where she fell in love with Anakin, it was also a symbol of her returning to the lake to where everything began. This wonderful story just made it more tragically beautiful. Just like Anidala I guess.

I nearly cried by this, and trust me - I am not a cryer! Such a gift you have.

Well this just made me terribly sad. It was fantastically written, but it hurt too. Much like the novelization of ROTS.

In my head this story is cannon. Superb. Thank you for sharing it.
