The interactions with Quinlan were interesting to read, he comes off as a very intelligent, if slightly absent-minded professor.

I have a question about the daily schedules though - the physical training and meet-ups with Quinlan can't take more than half a day or so, at least in my head. Would be interesting to hear what else she has to deal with on a daily basis. (And poor Survivor, parting with her breakfast in such an ungraceful way XD)

I liked this chapter, and you wrote the best Proctor Quinlan I have seen so far on this site.

It's good to see she's back with BOS. I'm very curious to see how Danse will react when she tells him about her history.

Rhys just seems like such a nice guy... Not. I wonder what unfortunate end of the Capital Wasteland Danse and Maxon picked him up?

Every time I hear the climax of Maxon's speech, I shudder; calling an entire race an 'enemy' for no other reason t han the accident of its creation. It wouldn't have been out of place coming from the mouth of a man wearing a black uniform with a red armband.

Beautiful build-up! You managed to establish your character without rehashing the game story too much and I love how you inject little details so reliving quests everyone knows isn't boring at all. I love your Danse, he is a strong character without being too pushy or grumpy (as often happens in Danse stories).

Your SS is also awesome, I love reading about her. Perfect mixture of vulnerability, strength and confusion at the new world. Looking forward to new chapters!

Speaking for myself, I'm heartily glad that this story begins at the beginning of the game. Too many stories jump right in post-Prydwen – to get right to the sweet Danse action, I know, but the result is often an underdeveloped main character who is difficult to relate to because we never got to see her grow into the badass that she's become. Remember, the female character was a lawyer, pre-war. She doesn't have the soldierly background. It's nice to see an author taking the time and effort to develop the Sole Survivor in a realistic and thoughtful way. Hear hear!
