Dean's pain and suffering literally broke my heart in pieces and ohh god , the way you described his last moments..Sam accidentally pushing him down ... Dean being scared and sobbing in the dark and then being gruesomely dragged to hell..the undigested burger and pie , that he relished not long ago lying on the bloodied carpet... Gosh ..I have never cried so hard! This story put my heart through a wringer but I gotta say the relief that came at the end was worth going through it!

Wow. Just found this story, and it's amazing. I, of course, had the same assumption as Dean as to what Sam was doing (I don't want to give it away!), but this was a great - and even logical - twist. And, of course, that's what Sam would be concerned about - ALL he'd be concerned about. So good.

Holy shit. They're no words to describe how beautifully tragic this story is. Your work is just absolutely amazing.

This is one of the most heart-breaking stories I've ever read, and yet it also manages somehow to be uplifting at the same time. Who could have imagined that Dean going to Hell would be the the thing that actually fixes him in the end? Surely not Sammy.

This was so well done, the subterfuge of Sam's year so well written, that I didn't see the ending coming. At all. And then it hit me like a train, right in the feels. Bravo!

Wow. Holy cow. That was amazing. Every time I thought I had a feel for what was going on, the plot was like "Sike!" It was fascinating trying to figure out what Sam was doing. At one point, I thought he was euthanizing Dean through his beloved junk food. Sam and Dean are obviously larger than life characters so it's interesting to read a story where Dean has been beyond crippled and not even a shadow of the person we know and love him as, but still needs Sam's acceptance. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't share Sam's relief when Dean shows up at the door at the end, walking and talking on his own. Great job. Thanks for sharing!

Breathtakingly riveting and very smoothly written, this was not a joy to read but it was a joy to see such skill and care. Pulling deep emotion is always a writer's goal, to share the pain, the love, the laughter or whatever it is and this worked a treat. I don't know that I would be able to read it more than once every two or three years, but I have favorited it because I do know I will want to read it again. Thanks!

I just got to read this and I was blown away! I was so mad at Sam for not taking better care of Dean and letting him get worse. Then the end hit me! Whoa! I love it! Great story, as always!
