I've read this story three times. I wished there was a part II. Please consider it...

Helga's so clever on her replies. And I love how you portraited Arnold 's soothing and practical personality so well when he talks; and dreamy side, when he writes.

So, yesterday, I was watching "Hey Arnold: The jungle movie" for the third time and as I was watching Arnold's confession, I remembered THIS story. I asked my sister (who was the one that read this fanfic first), "Hey, do you remember THAT Arnold x Helga's fanfic?" and it might have been our twin powers or maybe the fact that we just both love this story so much, but she inmediately understood what I meant and nodded eagerly. I didn't have to say anything else for her to know that I was talking about this fanfic.

It doesn't matter that this story is 5 years old or that I've already read it 3 or 4 times before. This fanfic will always be my FAVORITE among favorites. I cried like a baby on all the parts that have made me cry in the past (still as sensitive as i was 5yrs ago) and finally understood those things about love that made Helga so scared (Oh, sweet innocent me, I didn't know a thing about love, back in 2015). Omg, this narration: «Only he doesn't leave like she expects him to—instead, he takes her right hand and flips it over, trailing his fingers over her digits and palm until sparks of heat are shooting up her arm. "Thank you. For the letter," he elaborates, and only then does Helga realize he's not just tracing random patterns into her hand. He's outlining the shapeless ink stains» is such a delightful detail, an accurate and intimate little moment to be described and to empower the characters' personalities and feelings. I am really grateful by your writing.

the best fic of this fandom no doubt

I like this story. After the letter that was written regarding "his guardian", I kinda guessed it was Arnold. Well really from the first one being a Helga Arnold fic. The roof top scene I wanted to strangle Helga, hahaa. But this story has a very excellent portrayal of Phoebe, Helga and Arnold. Wish it didn't end, but alas, all good things do. Hope to read other wonderous fics.

This was one of the best stories I have ever read. You stayed so true to the characters, but branched out on thoughts of Helga’s that were originally presented in the show. Not only is the story amazing, but the way you choose to craft your words is utterly beautiful! And me, a person who loves to write poetry, found your words both poetic and incredibly creative. You sure know how to craft a story! I hope you use your writing for something really good someday, it needs to be heard. Thank you!

I know that it has been quite awhile since you wrote this story but I found it this year while binge reading fics in honor of the TJM. Gotta say.. this has been one of my favorite reads. I absolutely loved it. So many feels.

l really like this story. Even though I knew the mystery note writer is Arnold, his notes made it clear that he really liked Helga.

What I really liked about your story, is Phoebe's personality and support for Helga, even though Helga pushed Phoebe's limits, but made it clear to Helga to take action about the notes...and Arnold. This is what a true best friend would do.
