oh my goodness. i have to admit, a story aboit leo nad annabeth's relationship isn't the most common thing, but boy did it grab my interest. and the actual fic itself - i mean, the writing style was so engaging yet not over complicated,and you managed to characterize both of them so, so perfectly. i loved it.

I can't even with an Annabeth & Leo friendship. It's too much... I'm glad someone actually realises that Annabeth WOULD appreciate Leo's brilliance. I mean, Annabeth is an architect and Leo managed to draw the Argo II and built it on his own and engineered everything inside it.

I think any child of Athena would appreciate that, and I think Leo would appreciate Annabeth's brilliance too since she's the only one of few who actually understands what he's saying. I mean, he was the only one to tame Festus which makes him more mechanically inept than any of his siblings.

This was masterfully, beautiful piece. I loved every part of it and it was well paced. I like how you tied them both together to help with each others hurdles. It was sweet to see the companionship blossom along. The final part broke my heart in a way but it was well done from start to finish. I think both characters were on point and well developed. I really enjoyed seeing a secret friendship between the two as well as your exploration of Leo's mask. Great job. It's been a while since a one-shot has touched me as deep as this one.i
