I-I don't know how to feel about this. The writing is amazing, I can appreciate the style. I don't think I like the story on a personal level, it hurts in a nasty sort of way. But it is very well written, I don't regret reading it, and in a way I enjoyed it. I guess I like it because I relate to something in it, but I don't know what. It's left me trying to figure out what.

This story gets even better on re-read. Your prose, so elegant and precise, sets off the grim and gritty acts and emotions here well. It feels clinical but there's beauty in it too. The contrast/parallels between Sam and Dean's respective suicide/torture scenes, both trying to control fate, Sam by destroying his own body and Dean by destroying somebody else's, is horrifying and just right.
