Anyway just dropping in to say I've picked up reading this and I'm liking it so far

the idea of 1 of the Rampant Personalities Cortana ejected into the Network of The Didacts ship taking over and locking MAIN Cortana away makes alot of sense

Please do continue at the earliest possible convinience, this seriously amazing, the kiss earlier was on point, what with all the emotions in the air., like, seriously, maybe its just my need to scratch that (possibility of a) happy ending itch that is making me say this but the only flaw i find is the occasional, as in rare, spelling error.
I blasted through the fic in like 4 hours and now i need more, pls dont leave me hanging, for too long anyway.

Just saying I’m not to sure why you’d think they did a great job with the storyline as they completely messed it up, The Human species as a whole was meant to inherit the mantle as declared by the Precursors and later enforced by the Librarian, the AI was only the gate keepers along with being the watchers and recorders along with a few other functions. The whole AI is meant to inherit the Mantle was so completely wrong it just disgusted me how they changed that, even if the Domain is currently corrupt and the Warden is influencing Cortana, then there was sending a Spartan after the Chief, and how well that spartan faired against him when they fought which shouldn’t of happened, alongside instead of what the UNSC was doing they should of been completely supporting the Chief, after all without him Humanity would be nothing.
But regardless it’s a veery good story and what I said is just towards the game and my frustration at how they changed some of the lore.

Hello, LadyReclaimer! It’s been quite a while. I do like the turn this chapter is taking the story and how John is beginning to react more emotionally towards things. I’ve always found it really interesting how different writers present this inner conflict with himself and you’ve definitely nailed it. Can’t wait for the next chapter!

This story is well worth continuing! I really enjoyed the look inside John's mind during the debriefing in this chapter. I thought your take on it fits him really well, and that's an interesting and painful observation you make about Cortana never abandoning him, as he did her. I feel that guilt is one emotion the Chief would be highly versed in (and skilled at repressing).

Wow reclaimer! I’m glad you’re back at it again. It’s always such a pleasure to read your stories.

This chapter definitely didn’t disappoint. It was awesome to read through the Chief’s AAR. There were plenty of emotional moments in there and it must’ve been hell for him to relive all of that. At times I thought the officer’s interactions were a little overplayed...but it fit Halo and it fit chief’s perception of them in the moment. Over all it was a ton of fun to read.

And of course, the Grave Mind. I’m super excited to see where you go with him, what’s going on with Bornstellar, Altana, and all of them. I’m sure it’s gonna be a ride no matter how it turns out, and as always I’m excited to see where this is going!

I'm glad to see that you're still writing this story. It's one of the few Halo fanfictions I've been able to enjoy.

On a side note, John faced the Didact again after he lost Cortana. It's part of a comic series called Halo: Escalation.

Good to see you back, I really have enjoyed your style up until this point, as a fellow fanfic writer I know the pains of wanting to leave a story behind when life gets in the way and stuff. You're very good at what you do and I think you should continue doing it so long as its fun, so welcome back! :)

Ah, glad to be back. I reviewed this story back in August of 2016, and it’s just as good as I remember. Your detail is great, and the way you write emotion into Cortana’s pain is phenomenal! And I don’t think John and Cortana’s kiss was too soon or anything like that. After everything they’ve been through and finally reuniting, I can see it happening clearly. So no worries on that. Keep up the amazing work and I’ll see you at future updates...
