Reviews for Avatar: Finding Yourself
TheManTheMythTheMeme chapter 1 . 7/30
a good story all around but im unsure if i should continue on yo the next one. I know nothing of bleach and the parts with the masks do fused me as I tried to read them.

either way this story was amazing and thank you for all the work you put into it.
TheManTheMythTheMeme chapter 26 . 7/29
hehe

iroh-ny...
TheManTheMythTheMeme chapter 1 . 7/27
interesting way to start the story, i like it
TheScribeofLelouch chapter 17 . 4/24
Good to finally see a big change in plot from canon. But Zuko’s change in motivation and beliefs is so unnatural. Well, i suspected this would happen. Aang got his motivations cleared up right from the beginning of season 1. Zuko? When I skimmed through book 1, which had minimal changes, this was what i was expecting. There’s gonna be some awkward Zuko character change because he’s realizing that he is the avatar so late.

Don’t take my critics personally, AtLA is an amazing canon to match up to and your writing is good. Just the plot and character building have flaws.
TheScribeofLelouch chapter 16 . 4/24
Having two avatar is a big thing. Like a big rock thrown into a lake. The minimal deviation of plot from canon is not doing your premise justice. This is underwhelming, up to this chapter that is.
TheScribeofLelouch chapter 13 . 4/24
Shouldn’t Zuko have recognised his past life on sight, like how Aang could name his past lives easily?
TheScribeofLelouch chapter 6 . 4/24
Finally, a deviation.
Arashi Uzukaze chapter 46 . 3/19
Ash Wraith, aka Zuko's inner darkness/Blue Spirit manifest.
Arashi Uzukaze chapter 34 . 3/19
I wonder if Zuko also got his own Space Sword...swords considering he uses twin broadswords aka Dual Dao and his previous versions were lost.
Tony McNucklz chapter 32 . 3/10
i maintain that you took to long to balance out the avatar spirit qnd that there are a lot of logic problems with the delay, but perhaps now that the 2 are finally one things will make more sense.
Tony McNucklz chapter 12 . 3/10
and again in this chapter canon happens because aang is still clearly the avatar? the entire point is that there is only one. you over extended the time of aang having avatar powers so it makes no sense that he would lose them now. this was the last chance for it to make sense for the avatar switch, even if it was late. now the story is completely plot broken.
Tony McNucklz chapter 11 . 3/10
it doesn't make any sense that aang isn't that avatar but still can do avatar things. bend multiple elements. commune with spirits. it doesn't have any logical consistency. the entire point of the avatar is thatbthey can do those things because of the spirit that bonds with each successor after the other one dies. if aang woke up only an airbender, and the connection to roku had faded and felt like some sort of last time, it would have been believable. but you have aang continuing to learn waterbending which utterly undermines your story premise.
Mr. Haziq chapter 63 . 3/2
Yay!
Death Fury chapter 63 . 2/29
great job, please post another chapter when you publish the new story
SockMage chapter 62 . 8/5/2019
Seeing the different ethical challenges faced by Zuko compared to Aang in the show was great. I also liked how you went beyond the show’s timeline. It made for a more unique take on a Zuko is the Avatar story and I’m glad to have run into this. Thanks for writing :)
