I'm so happy to see some new work in the ATLA world. I have never been a Jet fan. I think that a big part of the reason for this is because I didn't get his reasoning. He was supposed to be a "good guy" but his actions appeared to be in direct conflict with "good guy" my first opinion of him was that he was a "mole" from the Fire Nation, there to capture Aang. This chapter humanizes him a bit for me, him being wracked with self doubt. Nicely done.
