Actually, IM3 (Des 2012Jan 2013) happened 3 years before CA2 (mid 2016). Harley was around 11-12 at that moment, there's no official statement, but judging by the looks he looked like he just started first year in middle school. So he will most likely be 14-15 after CA2. In short, he will be around Peter's age.

Okay, sorry for the unnecessary fact. Put that aside, this story is really nice. I've been looking for Tony and Harley's fic and having troubles to find the nice ones. Glad I stumbled upon this. Thank you for writing.

This is breathtaking in its accuracy to character. I am beyond impressed with how well you managed to capture their characters/voices/mannerisms.

I loved Harley from his first moment in IM3, but I'd forgotten about him until I saw Ty Simpkins in 'Endgame'! Now I'm on a mission to catch up on the fics I missed X) I actually found this fic through the Wiki fan site. I was researching Harley to do my own Harley-inspired one-off and I found references to this, and then a couple other of your stories. I'm specifically looking forward to 'The Boy and the Mechanic' ;)

The pacing is wonderful, I love the way you systematically worked through the Avengers, and Harley is just such a prize. You captured his enthusiasm so well! And what a little shit he can be! X) Originally, I was gonna try and point out specific moments I liked, but I'm realizing as I try to do that that I'd basically be parroting back your entire story to you X) so I'm not gonna try. ONE thing I will specifically point out that I liked though, was Bucky's reaction to Harley. I'm proud of my knowledge (that Tony doesn't have) of Bucky's former passion for Science. It added something really sweet to their friendship. (On a side note, now I really want someone more skilled than I am to try and write a recovering-Bucky/young-Harley friendship story. I just think that would be too cute. Harley's exuberance and disregard for personal space/privacy would be perfect paired with his darker/broodier personality. Harley would be just the thing to draw him out and maybe help him to be who he used to be. ...I don't know why I do this to myself. lol) Another thing I specifically enjoyed about your work here was Tony's voice in the narration. He is NOT EASY to write. He rambles, and then the reader(writer) looses track of where they were going...it's a mess. You did not fall into that pit. You dodged it perfectly, and I was left laughing more times than I can count at how succinctly Tony Stark could communicate/narrate these situations. BIG POINTS to you there.

Anyway. Long-rambling review aside, this is a fantastic piece. I'm looking forward to see what else you've got going on in the Harley Keener ballpark X) The summary had me hooked from the start, and you did not for a moment disappoint.

AWWWWWWW. Best thing ever, though I do doubt the ear thing because well you can just look at ears irl and check. I checked with my mom, dad, and sisters, and our outer ear really isn't that similar. Who knows? Maybe I'm adopted. OOH maybe i'm from an alien planet. that would be so this fic made me happy cause I just saw endgame and i cried. I cried fro 20 minutes straight, not kidding. And now my eyes are red. I really hope Harley takes on Tony's mantle. Did you spot him? In the end. Can't say more or it will spoil it and I don't wanna do that.

Because of that guilt trip, I would just like to say that I really enjoyed this story and the groups relationships. It's nice to see a purely happy and funny story without my heart being ripped in two. Nice writing, keep at it.

That was like reading my inner dialog throughout my everything. You hit all the best points of my favorite fandoms; Avengers/Iron Man, first and foremost, Pirates of the Caribbean, the RDJ Sherlock Holmes movies, and Star Wars! all rolled into one fantastical story that seems as of it was tailored to me and me alone, even though I know that this proves that I'm not insane like my sister thinks, and that there are people that like the same things as me.
