Oh dear Gods, Kakashi has ZERO chill! I couldn't stop laughing! I wonder what Sasuke and Naruto's reaction would be if they were to learn that their old sensei propositioned their dear Sakura? And I don't believe for a second he was kidding! He not only admitted to having a one night stand, (while on official business for Konoha) but spilled the beans about his extracurricular activities when a younger Team 7 had missions. Now I'm wondering if only Sakura knows these things or if the village chose to turn a blind eye to certain goings on. Either way, the Hokage-in-training likely has some explaining to do when he gets home seeing as tell of his escapade arrived before he did. And speaking of escapade, Naruto sure turned his small get together with the Sand Sibs into one in no time at all :) That was just adorable how his little group grew and grew as the night progressed, his diplomatic prowess on full display. Sasuke could definitely take a page from Naruto's book. He has such an aversion to anyone who isn't Naruto or Sakura that it's a wonder he hasn't been diagnosed with selective mutism. I was amazed that he bothered to talk to Temari at all let alone tell her that Shikamaru and Ino are together, but his kiss with Gaara floored me in the most delightful way :D I love that Gaara was low-key on the prowl and moody, taciturn Sasuke was directly in his sights. I may have squealed when they sat together on that roof. I know this story isn't a Gaara/Sasu type of party, but I still like the lettering on the invite :) But was that our dear, sweet Naruto that caught them in action? I am so thankful for this update as well as all your others, Writer-san. With everything that's happening in the world, this story is most certainly a bright spot in my life. I just finished reading your fic in one go! The way you portray the characters are so good and I love that you show the story from different perspectives. I'd rather consider this canon than the one kishimoto gave us years ago (naruhina is literally a joke) pls keep this up! Fics focusing on NSS are so rare that im really thankful I found this one. Well Sasuke was determined to make things as weird and awkward between Team 7 as he himself was feeling, wasn't he? That outburst to "Stop treating me like your girlfriend!" must have really cut Naruto to the quick. And Sakura must have thought she'd been caught in some sort of genjutsu when Sasuke not only kissed Naruto right in front of her, but then re-kissed her as well. Phew! And I thought things were tense in the Hokage tower when Kakashi tried to welcome him back into the fold. And the whole bit about their old sensei "creeping around after Sakura" was interesting. Even more so when the boys immediately tried to interject themselves into Kakashi and Sakura's trip. Hmmm. Paranoia... or? Maybe I'm just reading way too into things? Anywho, it seems that overall Konoha needs to do a much better job checking after the mental health of their personnel. Maybe that's what Kakashi was trying to do with Sasuke (anyone could have seen him taking a walk in his bathrobe that night) but it may be too little, too late. He is a perfectly damaged product of his village after all. Thank you so much for the update, you made my week! Oh, and I completely agree that Boruto is a stupid name (but Joruto is cute :) Leave it to Naruto to come up with an on-the-spot proposal!
