Can we talk about how much I love your story? I stayed up till 4am to read the first 29 chapters, and then you posted the 30th. It was 1am when I went to sleep. But anyways. I love how the OC isn't forced into the story. I love all your references, and how you tie her to other characters so smoothly and effortlessly. When she was with Alex I was like: "But she's supposed to be with Ben! And he's supposed to be with Eliza!". And I was so happy they broke up. And the letter to Laurens! Also, how short is she? Like, Hammy was 5'7", and her face collided with his chest. What's the difference with Ben and George, the first 6'2" and the second 6'3"? I'm kinda confused. Otherwise, simply perfect.

I believe with this chapter you have proven the principle of 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' for Lillian and Ben. Yay more Caleb escapades! His rescue attempt was one of my favorites too, when he was stealing the uniform and walking through the city looking all fancy and smug, it was hilarious. Oh, and then Hamilton has to go and ruin a good thing by suggesting some very inappropriate things to a Lady Lillian...

I cannot wait for the next chapter and Lillian and Ben getting their feelings for each other all sorted ;)
