GAH! My eyes! It's... too... WHOLESOME! Like, my dude, this is actually adora-blah... Ador-blgrrrl... Hold on, my inner Alpha male is keeping me from expression feeli- OPINIONS. I was definitely going to say opinions. Feelings are for women. Us men have strongly entitled OPINIONS that we express via loud, unintelligible grunts and barks.

However... I will put aside my genetic disposition to say that this is actually one of the most charming stories I've read in a long time. I genuinely enjoy reading about CRDL, and most people seem to have the same idea about writing them, not as heroes, but as genuinely honest and good intentioned Huntsmen. I absolutely love the fact that you didn't make them generic evil bullies. Would love to have seen more of them in the show but, well... Let's just agree that fanfiction is probably the best thing to come put of RWBY in years.

Even so, I love your style and would really enjoy seeing you keep writing in the future. You'll always have at least one follower right here

okay, i'm exaggerating a bit, i actually like the ending, while a different ending with both of them dating could have been nice from a certain perspective (a happy ending :D), the one you decided to go with is more...dunno if the word realistic is the right one, but the thing is that it makes more sense, at least for me, fixing/settling our own issues first before actually engaging in an actual romantic relationship with someone is actually a wise/mature decision, because carrying those problems into the relationship could actually harm both of them in the long run and i don't think people would like that. right?

besides both are aware that there is something going on between each other, so is not like they need to rush things, like Cardin said:
"one step at a time" -hah-
so this night ends with both of them as friends.
what will tomorrow bring?...well, that's a story for another time :)

oh, before i go, i laughed at the ending, srsly Velvet, better watch out or else Russel is going to steal your man. XD jk.

I thank you for writing one of my all time favorite stories on this site. Your story is one of the few that I always enjoy coming back to read, and I always recommend it to friends who get into RWBY, especially those who like me ship Cardin/Velvet.

I do hope you can find the inspiration to come up with a sequel, but more importantly as one human being to another, I wish you good fortune in your life! :)
