LadyShadow26 chapter 7 . 10/28/2016
Why is it always the shoulder? I swear it is so common in these fics XD Kaito is consistantly shot and it always hits...the shoulder. I mean the poor guy cant catch a break! (Granted the alternative would be the piercing of a vital organ...but still!) Youd think by this point there would be SOME form of protection he could wear in that area.

At any rate have I mentioned how much I enjoy this story? Because I really do. It certainly causes me a headache (in a good way) but I like the cleverness of it all. Reading it through the second time around makes things fall into place alot easier (and lessens the earlier mentioned headache) and the details are often so subtle blink and you will miss them!

Highly entertaining read.
LadyShadow26 chapter 5 . 10/28/2016
One thing thats been kind of bothering me (as Im reading this story through the second time) but... why doesnt Hakuba attempt to stop the murders from happening. (He knows more than he lets on though I wont spoil it here in case there are new readers reading the reviews) Does he not have the ability to do so?
Motherofthehorde chapter 8 . 9/24/2016

bobbyneko chapter 8 . 6/28/2016
Very cool.
donahermurphy chapter 8 . 5/17/2016
Re-reading this story, and I have to say, the first time through, the reveal surprised the heck out of me. I did not see it coming.

I'm quite enjoying your sequel, and the idea (of Hakuba really is) has grown on me, mostly because of your excellent writing.

Also, can I mention that I love the bits with Akako? I love the bits with Akako.

Good work, here, and to parrot from an earlier review by someone else, this fic really does need more love. It's excellent.
Kiri Kaitou Clover chapter 8 . 4/27/2016
This fic needs more love. Other than the omission of vulgarities this was an absolutely amazing piece of character interpretation! I'm going to read the sequel now!
FreeWeirdGal chapter 8 . 3/24/2016
Give me a moment to process that my time-travel theory was actually right. Though for a moment there, I thought of Hakuba being one of the Next Generation, not someone else in disguise. You can't be right all the time though. This was an excellent end, and I can't wait for the sequel to be posted.
Cookizilla chapter 8 . 3/22/2016
Sorry I haven't taken the time to review before, but I'd like to congratulate you on a job well done. This story definitely deserves more followers- it's very well written, and I can say that proper grammar is a joy to read. I especially like how you presented this story through different perspectives. Unique style, good characterization, and interesting plot twist, though it kinda came out of the blue.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to the sequel. c:
Keep it up!
FreeWeirdGal chapter 5 . 3/1/2016
I love how you write Heiji, it takes me a few more seconds to register what he's saying, but that's apart of his charm, and it isn't so bad that it ruins the flow of the chapter. Actually I think it helps, since it forces me to actually think about what is being said, instead of skimming over it. But that could just be me.

Since this is a character study of Hakuba based on information from a bunch of other characters. Different characters come to different conclusions about him, Akako thinks that he's a witch whose hiding his magic and Conan suspects that he's in a similar situation. So the plot has something to do with Hakuba's past, and his motivations. There's the persisting fan-theory that he's a member of the Crows, but that doesn't fit with other information we have in character. Personally I blame time travel, or some other form of mystical involvement, but that is just me wishful thinking.

At this point it's obvious that Hakuba cares for Kaito and Aoko at the least, and that he's willing to go to some lengths for their sakes, but he keeps them at a distance for his own reasons.
