Hey, I'm really not one to talk with how long I take to get anything written. But seeing as this is a rewrite of a fic that had 18 chapters, and it's been 2 years since your last post, I think it's reasonable to ask if there's something wrong.

I'm sad that The Way it Was meant to be is gone:( hopefully you will update! You are a talented writer!

This fic was so sad. Every time i read it it gets me sad and teary eyed. I'd love it if you could write a sequel for this brilliant sad work :)

I was so happy to see the previous story had been updated and then immediately sad because by the time I got a chance to read it, it had been deleted. So I am thrilled to see you are rewriting it. So far I am really enjoying what you have written and can't wait to read more.

i can't wait to see what changes you made for the next chapter! one piece of advice i have for you is to make little breaks (idk what they're called) in between perspective changes. Like, if it's zuko's perspective and you switch to Hakoda's, then put something (like a line or a couple of "x's") in between them so you can easily tell that the change is happening. it's just a minor detail though

Oh my gosh, this is absolutely amazing and SO heart-wrenching. You are /such/ a talented author to awaken such emotion in me. This has always been my favorite Avatar fic and I'm overjoyed that you decided to come back and rewrite it. Your writing has definitely improved and it was already fantastic before.
