It was nice to be able to get a glimpse into the reactions of the other characters regarding Itachi and Sakura's relationship. Perhaps most unexpected was Fugaku's response and funniest was Naruto's. I was wondering if Shisui was going to jump in and share a word but perhaps lucky for Itachi he didn't. Thanks for sharing!

I was thrilled you picked up and continued this story and brought to life another aspect of their time together. The little window into how they met, Sasuke's discovery and reaction, and what it meant to be so far apart within their society and yet drawn together so comfortably (and happy) together was so nice to read. Great story, and I don't generally like angsty stuff. This story was so well done that I stuck with it anyway. This subject is of interest to me, not because of myself as I am blessed with two beautiful children, but because my parents couldn't and adopted me and my brother. I'm not sure why they couldn't because the one time I got the courage to ask my Mother she was very vague, was clearly unwilling to discuss the subject and I didn't push because of respect for her feelings. My question is, with all their amazing medical jutsu that can do things that are completely impossible for any doctor in reality to accomplish, why wouldn't they be able to do In-Vitro-Fertilization for either Sakura or a surrogate to carry? She still has viable eggs they could harvest. You didn't say why it would be dangerous if the pregnancy wasn't ectopic, but if it is a problem I'd imagine that there are plenty of Uchiha women available to be surrogate since Itachi is clan heir. If no one would out of kindness, then for a rise in prestige and status in the clan or as a mission they were paid for. Even if it's something as yet unknown, Tsunade is a medical genius and since Sakura is her apprentice and Itachi is heir to the Uchiha clan she would be sufficiently motivated to come up with a solution. I understand if this is just not the direction you wanted to go with this story, but it is the next step most people in this situation would explore these days. Anyway, just a suggestion for a possible future chapter.

When I read your note about the topic Sakura's having here, it surprise me as IMO your description of Sakura' feeling is on point. I'm glad that you never experience it though! The denial, the need of reassurance, the fear, and the tremendous guilt, as if I had kill the baby myself... You're a great writer. Thanks for the story!
