I LOVE this story very much and I don't see how anyone else could complain about it because I think it was written perfectly and makes sense perfectly as well.

Looks fine to me.. Really wish you'd update the story though. It's a good start, though it needs more internal focus though. Like another chapter on the elves working through the barrier, Harry being elronds son.. Ect..
What era in middle earth does this take place?
Is the war over already or is the war of the rings barely beginning?
Is Harry Elrond's son or his grandson?
Are you through entirely with this story or will you be updating again in the future?

I found the parts of the veil/portal not that interesting thought. I like it more when the focus is on Harry or on Elrond's family. However eventually this story might have repercussions in the wizarding prophecy of the boy-who-lived, and in the war of the ring.

Zero complaints here I am thankful for you efforts.. this is a well written and thoughtful piece of literature.. your character development is quite good! The only suggestion I have for harry at least is at some point for undeniable proof be presented to him that he is Elrond child.. he is a elf correct? What better way to reinforce that fact then to have harry fit the part pointed ears and all. Don’t get me wrong character background is important but at some point he needs to fit the part

I see nothing wrong with this chapter. Yes, it seems a little shorter than the others but grammatically and structurally sound. Also it is a good chapter.
