There had to be another way to do this, this chapter was painful to read, Roman would never do any of this stuff, the way I would have approach this differently is Neo saying that Roman is being blackmailed and she explains to Jaune what her relationship with the master thief, and I don't know they saved Roman and Roman let's Neo go with Jaune because he will treat her better and protect her and Roman wants what's best for Neo " A Second Chance" because Roman choose his path a long time ago but Neo is still young and she can make a better path for herself

this was an amazing story, loved the romance and I loved how Mercury was redeemed. I think I can speak for... a few people that we were kind of left wanting more at, ahem, Chapter 13.

The story was going so damn well. Despite the chapter being a mistake and 'Mistakes are a part of life', it still completely ruined the tone of the story. The quality of writing in the chapter also took a hit, and the amount of ridiculous humor felt over the top in this one to make up for it. Like the characters have been turned into their raw base essence and emotions rather than complex people we all know and love. I honestly feel like the idea for the story has been tainted by those chapters, and it's not going to be fixed by the rest of the story being positive.

To summarize: Good story idea, excellent implementation up until halfway. After that I stopped reading because that really got dark and there should have been much more of a warning in the title or summary than 'I don't condone this'.

Make a Sequel to this, I wanna see more about the children of both Jaune and Neo, and how they lived as a family. also an omake about how their family interacted with the rest of team RWBY, CRDL, CVFY, and etc.

this story started really strong, and has been good for the most part. I just think you tried to do too much too fast. The whole flow of the story feels off compared to the other chapters. this whole bit with the armor and jaunes apparent new powers is a bit much I think. other than that, I look forward to the rest

I can understand you going this direction, but it seems a little clunky. All of it just sort of comes out of nowhere, especially the armor, that came straight out of left field.

I'd say this was a good story. Although it was rushed at the end, this was a good way to show the alternative route if Neo betrayed Torchwick. This was also the story that made me want Jaune x Neo to happen a lot more than before. So thank you Friday for sharing this story. I was wondering if you would ever do Jaune x Neo again. Maybe take place in Volume 7 and they meet up then. It's just an idea. Good luck on your other stories!
