Y'know for about a year I was strictly a Zolu fan, but then I thought to myself 'hey let's look up Lawlu, it can't be as perfect as Zolu'. Boy was I wrong, I still like Zolu but Lawlu is bae. So I know exactly how you feel.

This fic was rec'ed tp my by a friend who's just as crazy about ShanksBenn as I am, and I have to say, I was not disappointed. While I never considered it myself, it's easy to image Benn being jealous of Luffy since Shanks gave up an arm for him, but despite the corniness, I like Shanks' reply :3

Omg I'm in love with that story. I don't even think Benn is out of character here because I can see him getting jealous over the loss of Shanks' arm. I think Benn will never fully get why Shanks did what he did, considering that you even mentioned that he could have used conquerer's haki from the start.

And omg so less ShanksBenn stories out here. You did very good, and I'm so glad I could read a little more of my fav. OTP. So thank you very much for that. I also really like LawLu :)

I love the way you wrote this, the interactions between Shanks and Benn were fantastic and the part with Law at the end was quite amusing XDD

I don't normally read BenShanks, but this was cute. You gave them a realistic setting, someone getting used to a physical change in their lover and coping how they feel about it and how/why it happened. I can't imagine it would be very easy for most.
And the implied LawLu was such a sweet bonus.
