The image of Cinder smacking a Griffon with a newspaper just made my night XD

I googled creatures of Grimm before I read this, and I'm glad I did because now I have the mental image of Cinder disciplining this huge, demonic dog looking thing. Of maybe the deer-like one with the antlers. Which is funny because it's not the sort of creature you'd imagine someone walking up to and smacking with a rolled up newspaper.

This is funny. So they had to stop the battle because Roman got eaten by a Grimm. I can just see the creature with a pair of flailing legs sticking out of its mouth. And I like the way Cinder reacts to everything, like people getting swallowed by monsters is so common place that she brushes it off then walks off to continue the fight.

Do not ever monologue. EVER.

Hmm... I'm not a big fan of the all-caps shouting. That's sort of a personal thing, since reading too much of it gives me a headache, but I think you have enough detail surrounding it to let the reader know Cinder's shouting without it.

"As if it were a cat and its..." Oh gosh, this line shouldn't have been so funny. I think part of it was that being fandom-blind, I assumed at first that the 'creature' was a cat/dog and the swallowed thing was a mouse or something along those lines. And the idea that Cinder was beating something big enough to eat a person with a rolled-up newspaper ack

Can't stop laughing... just the image of Cinder hitting a Grimm with a newspaper like it's a pet is hilarious. But then Roman... hehe, oh the rules of being a successful villain. He should have never done that monologue, now he's covered in Grimm saliva and potentially other things.
