This is coming late, considering when this fic was posted, but still:

I adore this story. The first chapter was heart-wrenching, and I honestly expected a continuation of it would be angst-filled with Marinette and Adrien obsessing over their counterparts being in love with the "wrong" side of the mask. (Goes to show how much we have of that sort of story floating around, huh?) But instead, they resolved it pretty quickly, and we got the aftermath of them getting together. :)

Chloé's reaction wasn't surprising, and very much in character. What *was* surprising however, was her father's reaction. That he went to Marinette and Adrien to get to the bottom of the truth instead of taking her word for it and making the world pay? That he recognised Chloé is a brat and that her racism isn't something harmless? That he resolved to do something rational about it? Yeah, that's great, and not something we usually get even remotely hinted at even in fanfics. Which is a pity. The fandom could use more fics where the mayor wises up to the damage his daughter is doing and mans up.

Personally, I think Adrien's reaction to Chloé - slapping her and telling her off - is spot on, what any one person with a healthy psyche would and *should* do. Any reviewers asking you to be mindful of *Chloé's* feelings is misguided. When a bully gets a comeuppance, the correct reaction isn't "let's coddle her!", but rather, "let's go check on the victim, are they all right?"

Coddling the Bully is an illness prevalent not just in the real world, but also the Miraculous Ladybug canon, as the seasons 2 & 3 have shown us. :(

Okay, this was cute and all, but I have a lot of problems with it. First, Adrien can't slap someone because of something they said that offended them. That's just not right. Chloe was being a bitch, but unless she laid a hand on Marinette physically, then she shouldn't have been slapped (shoving her into the wall doesn't count, and even if it did, it wasn't then that he slapped her). Also what Adrien said to the mayor, Chloe was in no way being racist. She didn't saying anything racist at all, she was being a bitch, but not being racist. Sorry for the rant, but I just don't think that was right at all. But it's still a cute story, don't let my opinion get to you.

Just as an FYI Ivan becoming the 1st akuma victim was because of Kim not Cloe.

Wow... I just went and counted. Chloe causes 11 of the 26 akumas. Ivan was 1 villain in 2 episodes (origins), so that makes 25 akumas between the 26 episodes (not counting the christmas one) plus in the antibug episodes, there was Sabrina, the Vanisher. And then 1 of the 26 IS Chloe, so that technically means she cause 11/25 akumas. That 44% of all akuma attacks.

I actually don't like Alya at all. Her nosiness has always annoyed me, angered me etc. I expected it to take a lot more for Marinette to forgive her for something so big like her secret. But bless Marinette and her pure soul. I love her and her golden heart.
