Really well done! When Lorel said that Sam didn't tell her about Jessica, he did in your first story. Also I felt like Dean was a little OOC when how he treated Lorel, as just a "meatsuit" when he actually is more sensitive than that. I do get the point of the parallel between Dean and Oliver but I'm a Dean girl so I had to say something :) great story! The writing is seriously refined!

Really good so far.

I was a little surprised that Sam and Laurel are romantic with each other so easily. He was dating/sleeping with Ruby in the coma patient body. Between betraying his brother, the demon blood addiction, and being tricked into starting the apocalypse I'd think that this would have to be the worst relationship Sam ever had. Ruby was in Laurels body for a year or so, I would think Sam would still associate Laurels face with the Demon.

Laurel was a prisoner in her own body and forced to kill innocent people (many of whom were possessed, but still). Having a demon in you for just a short time is a traumatic experience. A whole year? Plus everything else in her life (dead cheating boyfriend, dead cheating sister, back from the dead boyfriend, back from the dead sister, dead sister again, vigilantes, etc) I'm surprised Laurel can even look at the Winchesters without having PTSD flashbacks to her time possessed. Same with Sam, thinking of the possessed nurse he killed by draining her blood, or thinking of when his brother was ripped apart by hell hounds. You seem to have written them as though they are mostly over these emotional turmoils, which is too bad. Dealing with this kind of emotional baggage (individually or together) would have been interesting to read. Even given that they are ok being in each others presence, I would think that any kind of relationship would be very difficult.

If you were abused for a year by someone and then had to spend time with their twin (who you know is good) I don't think you would ever feel truly safe in their presence. Even though logically you know this person isn't responsible for the awful things you did/had done to you, emotionally you are reminded of the worst moments of your life every time you see their face. Once she's free I would think she would have gotten as far from the supernatural as possible (and go back to her father and her life). Sam wasn't exactly in a position to look her up and spend any time with her, he had Ruby in the coma body and training to kill Lilith on his mind. Then Dean came back, then the 66 seals, then the apocalypse, then missing a soul, etc... I would think that when Sam and Laurel first encounter each other after Laurel was freed it would be extremely difficult for them both to be around each other. Laurel is at best perfect stranger to Sam (he's never met her) and at worse a reminder of his biggest mistake. Sam is a reminder of having a demon from the pits of hell wear you like a glove. It's not like you have any positive memories from before that you can focus on, Laurel and Sam only met because Laurel was possessed. The natural thing would be to want to avoid each other, Not go for coffee. Ican see Sam checking up on her but what motivated him to stick around and make some positive memories? What motivated Laurel to want/allow him to stick around long enough to build any kind of friendship (not to mention a relationship) that goes deeper than 'call this number if you encomter anything supernatural and get this tattoo to protect yourself from future possession'. Maybe they bonded over love of law? Over dead siblings? Distant fathers? This is a story I would be interested in reading from you.

I think this is about the third story I've read that uses the Laurel-Ruby angle to bring the characters together (seriously what's with all the 'Felicity has a history knowing hunters' stories?). It's also the best one I've read so far. Please don't take my review as an attack, it's just my thoughts about and inspired by your story.

Small side note: covens are for witches. Vampire groups are nests or clans (or colonys like bats?). If the Vamps have magic the Coven title would be ok, but Supernatural vamps are never shown to have any magic powers.

That's it. Like I said great story so far, it really got me thinking. I give 4/5 for the first chapter.

I really really like it! If you plan on updating a third chapter it would be nice to have Oliver questioning Laurel about her friends and the Team to backing her up!

I honestly didn't understand why she needed to keep her vigilante doings a secret from the Winchester's when they're Hunters and she was sorta kinda involved with Sam...but Superman logic beats all, I suppose.
I'm sorry if I sound complain-y, but if you just got done watching Case Closed "Superman Logic" would sound forced too.
But I did enjoy reading this. It sorta bothers me that there won't be anymore chapters...but I'll live. (*over-dramatic fake sobbing* Why is it over?! Why?) Keep up the good work!
