Soooo shal we?
1. Just want to piint out, that from all X-com fics I've seen...this is the best one. I am not happy that updates are sooo rare...and I am not happy that romance/lemon thingi is going so slow...buuuut, even if I say that you have your mind set on some things and you are writing it, not me...sooo this is it, end of story. You do your work and I will enjoy it, I really hope that you will make more of it and make it fast at that...but I will be centent enough if you don't leave this story for too long.
2. Love the new perspetive, almost every fic I read shows XCOM stuff and being "hero" or "vigilante"... but ADVENT soldier with doubts? Shut up and take my money ;)
3. Not many more things to say, I really don't mind using characters from RWBY and I really like the way that you implement them...so that is a thing.
4. Question about MC, Tyler going to have a little "change" maybe? Dragoon loking and stuff I mean, could give him better chances with getting alien hearts...and also would be cool as hell xd, even if little too...you know.
5. I hope you will make ADVENT shit themselvse on the mere thought about "The Dragon" in the future...
6. Really not much more to say, just hope you will make more...if any...ant tha you will make it pretty fast...cuz I like your work...Yeah that would be all X-Com universe is not my turf soo no tips for you...maybe for romance but this part I think you have covered...

Very good story. It.s been so long when i readed stored like these. Please continue. If you can.

First off, I do like this fanfic. It's not very often the war is portrayed by someone from ADVENT, so it provides a unique perspective. However, this story does have it's fair share of problems, mainly around showing instead of telling. We are told that the 77th loses well of 50% of its troops. But what we are shown is Tyler and his squad ripping through former Spetsnaz, who he says shouldn't be messed with. We are told the 77th is rendered combat ineffective, but we see XCOM troops ripped apart by Tyler. Second, more of an opinion/question is will there be a counter-dragoons XCOM squad? We see the Commander telling us that the Dragoons should be avoided and not engaged. The 77th warrants action by XCOM, because of their specialized units and flexible tactics. It's fun to see Tyler and his squad rip and tear through resistance forces, but it'll get boring enough soon. If we are only told the Dragoons are a threat, but an average XCOM squad beats them, the 77th shouldn't be the threat it is.

So this VIP is The Cannibal, a former decorated viper officer gone rouge. We’re introduced to the hounds, which are just the big wolf stereotypes. “Smell gud, alpha beta” There’s no reason they’re not just regular dogs. I guess that extra 1k words in flow breaking slog codex entries that will seldom be brought up again and an underage harem member was to good an opportunity to pass up huh.
This line “The sharp cracks of his highly modified (and highly illegal) M39” is hilarious. Ngl it’s actually funny how much muh tactics and armchair generaling is going on here.
We’re introduced to a couple new characters like Private Timothy, the wolves etc but I’ll bet 10 bucks on them either only serving to die for dramatic effect or so the author could break up the monotony of “the soldier”

Tyler...seems pretty cheery that he watched almost all of his comrades die.
He talks to an ethereal with our first harem member, Commanda Vissta, Sissta from another cloning vat.

So apparently that whole ethereal thing was a rumor. I mean, props to the elders, I guess, they knew bradford was taking lsd spiked with thin man venom and would be crazy enough to send a 3 guy squad to assassinate an elder.

Tylers like, “gimme funding and time”
The elders like, “ok fam here ya go”

Then a six month gap where 77 HVG troops learn !COMPETENCE and Tactics

Tyler gets a call to capture a VIP, a bad (or I guess good) viper. Probably gonna end up another harem member. My man’s about to lay more pipe down than Rockefeller.

The first is set. The three homies Angelis, Battlemaster, and Asaru chilling in their underwater wonderland.

So to drive up recruitment rates, they make a poster child unit (apparently three but shhh). I feel like giving them special armor and equipment then making using them and them solely for propaganda is gonna have the opposite effect but I’m not a psi big brain ethereal so I can’t really say.

We meet our Harem protag, armchair general Tyler R. Harrington, who has golden armor because his mom spent her dying breaths buying him the elite CS:GO skins.

He gets word that an ethereal is coming to inspect his base (an ethereal? why? they can just send a trooper and watch over the network), so he gets his squad ready and sweeps all the loose cigarettes under the rug.

Instead of pulling up in a UFO, the ethereal decides to roll up in an APC. I dig it. Mad respect. So XCOM shows up and actually thinks they can take on an ethereal with conventional weapons.

Of course they’re forced to retreat because they tried to fight two squadrons and an entire unit head on without any strategy. With TWO guys.

Bradford’s been hitting the juice I guess. Or maybe something stronger.
