Aaaaaah I'm so happy I found this story! I so wanted to read a fic where Smoker would somehow join the crew and I hope that when they reach Sabaody (or sooner) he realises that his futile attempts to simply be "an ally" who parts ways in the New World was useless as he gradually became...part of the crew. Hahaha

I wonder what kind of relationship he'll have with the others. Will he ever stop underrating them? Will Luffy's charm eventually work on him? ...how high will his bounty be? What will be Tashigi's reaction? Will he teach everyone haki? How different will everything be with him? Will he be blown away by Skypeia? Will he ever stop calling Usopp Longnose? Will he put his life on the line for them? Will they? Will he actually become part of the crew? I sooo want to see him storming Enies Lobby, standing alongside Luffy as he declares war on the World Governement.

First off, I'd like to say that I really should have left a review sooner. I found this story a couple days before the update that ended the hiatus, and enjoyed it thoroughly, which was incredibly disappointing when I thought it was a dead fic. I was thrilled when a new chapter dropped a few days later. I had planned to leave a short review on it, but never got around to it. :D

I really love the concept for this, and I hope you keep going with it. I'm interested to see how Smoker might fit into the group dynamics of the crew, and what sorts or relationships he might develop with other Strawhats. His potential for shaking up the story is also interesting, wether you plan on following the original arcs or not. His foreknowledge about certain things is nicely balanced by his weakened state post-time travel to. I'm glad this isn't an overpowered-person-from-the-future fic.
