Hey great story. But there's something that got me really confused. Alec's parents never died in the dark war. So why are they dead? Other then that it's a good story.

I really like this chapter and I look forward to see where you will be taking the story. I also like how you approach shifting from dialogue to description and back without actually breaking the paragraph or really the sentence. It feels like being able to see the subtle actions while still being engrossed in the dialogue.
