Excellent! Really moving and good advice too - life does get away from you!

That was really, really lovely. Very moving, too - both the part about life with a new baby and the reunion with Hugo. Life in your 20s/30s gets so crazy, it really is a luxury and a joy to reconnect with a friend that was important to you when you were younger and you really captured that feeling!

Oh, this was wonderful! I just...all of the little details, and how far things have come since their first trip. I love how much Ron loves his kids. I love how Hugo finally was able to make connections and put down roots, surrounded by family that loves him. I love the sense of reconnecting with memories, of people and important moments from your past. It's like being slapped with nostalgia in the best way; how you can look back on both the good and the bad, they way you remember so many little things you haven't thought of in years. That energy you get when you share it with others that remember, and how, for awhile at least, the years melt away, and you can almost relive it. This wasn't a very long piece, but it says exactly what needs to be said, and gives a sense of things coming full circle. Thank you so much for writing this! I know I, as well as many others, were curious about whatever happened to Hugo. I've read about three things by you tonight, and I have to say, I'm feeling very energized and inspired! And of course, this means I'll be needing to have another read through of Australia!
