Hola! I loved this story! I could hear everyone as though this was part of a Book 5! I would love to read more Asami bonding with Korra's parents stories from you! Senna is my favorite character in LOK. You wrote her wonderfully!

Reeves3 chapter 1 . 4/22/2016
Sweet story but it would have been nice to know why Tonraq was avoiding Asami. :P
Thundercatroar chapter 1 . 4/19/2016
Sorry I haven't reviewed until now, not that you've been biting your nails in worry...

Loved *LOVED* this! I like that Korra was there to assuage Asami's fears (and or assumptions) as to why Tonraq wasn't hanging around her so much. It was sweet that Tonraq bought the larger bed for the girls to share, that was an all telling acceptance of the relationship between the two of them. Honestly, I can't really see him making such a concession on behalf of Mako, or any other suitor, not because of the sex of Korra's paramour, but because he can see how deeply they care for each other, and that Asami really and truly is in the relationship with his daughter for the right reasons, and for the long haul as it were. Korra and Asami both have suffered like Jesus, so they deserve to be with each other.

Luckily for Tonraq he has one of the best mechanics on call in all of Harbor City, and on that common ground they can relax and get to know one another, share those comfortable moments of silence, *and* fleeting moments of frustration and the sharing of some really excellent swear words while doing automotive/sled repair. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, and if you have ever greased a differential or replaced the magnetic pickup in a car, you're too busy hating the parts you're working on and nursing bruised knuckles to hold any grudges with whoever you're with for long.

Got nothin' to do with the story, but...

Amen on the helper handing you the wrong tools too. I was working on a car one time and was underneath it, I kept asking for sockets, he was handing me metric instead of standard time after time and couldn't tell the difference. I swear to God he actually called a filter puller, and I quote, "that thingy", and then he got mad because I accused him of being fluent in womanese.

Coming from a woman, was that sexist?

Anyway, he's the living embodiment of Prince Wu, except he communicates with pugs and parakeets (a parakeet is the bird that sticks around until the keet shows up) rather than badger moles.

I digress...

Needless to say, this was wonderful, and I really enjoyed it!
