oh my gosh it's baaaack! I don't know how you do it, but the dialogue is spot-on and I'm really looking forward to seeing how much Shepard acts differently with this new squad. What an awesome take on what could have been instead. I wonder if she'll still eventually see her old crew?

Its good Shepard's lack of knowledge about any kind of afterlife was not a cop-out, but she was simply on hold. It leaves the mystery and fear of death in tact to be over come later. Also, Shepard doesn't have any paradise in her head she might be distracted by in the events to come.
Speaking of events to come, even if we know most of the Reaper war down the line, what happens before then looks quite different for now. I'm sure other besides me are waiting with anticipation.

Somehow I don't think the Asari would let themselves get killed in a shit-can. If she is Tela Vasir then Shadow Broker resources could probably leave a flash-clone or something behind... but a shit-can is a vulnerable vessel no matter the plan. I'm not sure how she could escape, but that's half the magic I suppose.

Shepard and Garrus back together... and Cerberus trying to get in on the fun. Well, that could get messy. I cant wait to see how you manage that in what ever direction you are taking us.
