The Girl From Another Time chapter 1 . 5/25/2019
This was so beautiful! I am still not over this book, so congratulations, you hit me right in the heart. Gorgeously wistful piece.

Enjoyed it immensely, thank you!
Nienna Rose chapter 1 . 8/2/2015
You know I'd think Legolas would've guessed right away once the stranger mentioned all his brothers, think that'd be a tale no Elf would ever forget, Mirkwood elf or no but that's just my opinion cause I immediately knew. Still it's a really good story!
Queen of the Red Skittle chapter 1 . 3/24/2015
Beautifully written!

T. Alana M chapter 1 . 12/29/2014
That was beautiful.
Guest chapter 1 . 12/23/2014
I knew from the beginning it was dear old Makalaurë! I loved this, especially the contrast between Gimli, the friendly, hospitable dwarf, Legolas, the confused but polite elf, and Maglor, the weary, burdened exile. I kind of wish Maglor would have accepted their offer to sail with them though... but maybe Maglor is forever exiled from Valinor, at least until the end of Arda... who knows?
Musae chapter 1 . 4/6/2014
What a lovely story! The pacing and style are very well done, and it's always such a delight to see the bantering between Gimli and Legolas. Very great idea to have Legolas, one of the last of the Eldar, to come across Maglor, one from the very beginning. Reading this reminds me of the beauty of the Silmarillion.
Petrichora chapter 1 . 7/21/2013
Very nicely written. :)
cleighc chapter 1 . 6/17/2013
Short and clever. The brevity was fresh and left me wanting a bit more. I was indeed able to guess the mystery character. However, it was quite enjoyable! I enjoyed reading from Legolas' POV. The mix of the ancient with post-ROTK times is very fun indeed. This is well written and mysterious.
LalaithElerrina chapter 1 . 5/25/2013
Okay, I know this was written over a decade ago, but I had to review it, anyway. Of course, I knew right away that it was Maglor. But I can believe that Legolas couldn't see it. Even with all the signs. This was wonderfully done. And your timing with him at last telling them his name was excellent!
inspiredbytales chapter 1 . 3/29/2013
This is a nice story. :) I really enjoyed it. Thank you for writing it! :)
Priestess of Dan chapter 1 . 3/4/2013
I love stories that have Maglor dealing with later-day Elves and Men, and I love the Legolas-and-Gimli relationship; so this hit all my sweet spots and was well-written besides. Good work!
glendash chapter 1 . 8/30/2012
Haunting tale, the gentle Maglor held back from the undying lands by his own guilt at the madness that was the kinslayings, wonderfully written
Kingsdaughter613 chapter 1 . 8/26/2012
