this story was excellent. I really liked that it dealt with growth, acceptanc, and finding peace. this pairing really surprised me and I love this take on the characters

Really really lovely. And very well written

I don't think I can express well how much I'm enjoying this. At first I was dubious about this pairing because I often found them much too similar to really work together, but you managed to make them so real and so in character. Their struggles are real and you have a way of analyzing them that is very profound and original. I'm still reading but I had to say this!

I don't know how you do it. I don't know how you take totally unconventional, even rare pairings and so beautifully convince your readers that Hermione and Whoever should be their OTP! I am a Romione when writing, but your ability to plausibly build an emotional and romantic connection between two people, in this case between Hermione and another Weasley brother, is unmatched. Hermione and Percy are well suited to each other, and I don't know why they are not written together more often. They are both cerebral, verbose, proper, unfailingly polite, intellectual. And here, they challenge each other in a healthy way so that they both grow! Well done!

Bill would be the one to help Percy go get his girl!

That marriage proposal was so awkward and yet, perfectly Percy! And Hermione's reply is adorable. Just, "Of course, yes."

I love how the Weasleys just had a collective Huh? moment over Hermione and Percy! And I am glad that, although it makes sense for Molly to be bummed about Romione being dead, that she gets over it and manages to pivot for the sake of both her sons!

Oh, no! I am so bummed that there was a misunderstanding about Ron and Hermione on Percy's part. And though his communication to her was for once unclear, I am glad he managed to clarify it. That kiss was so sweet and adorable! I love how he just tilted her head back and kissed her right on the mouth!

I love how Hermione is making Percy smile again and pulling him back from the guilt of being a silent collaborator in Voldemort's regime.

They were already emotionally drawn to each other, and well suited because of their mutual beyond-their-years maturity.

I love the rhetorical repetition between Percy and Hermione, already weaving them together. "S/He began to pen a letter" and such. I know there is a term for that kind of writing technique, I just can't remember what it is.

This is a fic that I keep revisiting and lingers with me. I never thought too much about this pairing, but the way you write them and their relationship is so powerful and relatable. Thank you so much :)

As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, this story really hit home. I love how it wasn’t about grand overtures, it’s the little consistent supports that mean the most. Great work!
