I'm guessing the bigger you are growing up the more careful you are around other people. It might not be generally true, but big people even just regular big have to be wary of hurting or blocking others. Gregor seems to embody that with how patient he is for his friend. He also probably is just happy to have one and protective of her.

You made rituals out to be something that should be cherished and maybe feared. You set the tone in such a way that even among magical things there is a reverence or primal aspect to ritual magic. It is impressive and makes me look forward to ritual use in the future.
