Hmmm if you put it that way you could due like the ending of DMC5 like Vergil and Dante went into the the demon world to destroy all the Qlippoth got lost and get Isekai into Infinite-verse and Dante and vergil get young but got separated due to the Isekai thing (meaning vergil slice a dimensional rift both went in but got separated Vergil does his own thing Dante becomes like a merc gets hired but the Phantom force for some infiltration thing but didn't know what I was so he hired as muscle didn't know shit get double cross and escapes but get contacted by IS academy to become it security unless he wants to be hunted down by the United nations for acts of terrorism so on so forth

Sorry man that I took so long as this is a real shoutout to me and to others as well. And I'm a bit ashamed it took me a long while to get to this review.

It's indeed been a long time. We're both now, a few years on this site. Kyrati in ISA seems like so long ago when I started writing it and now, we're both here after a lot of things went down. You certainly have made an impression on me as I did on you with your fic.

With DMC5 out and new things, the stalemate of how things would go with Nero is now broken so that's one thing. But I am wondering what you'd do next. Things are going to be rocky from here on out. On a lot of fronts and it looks like summer is close enough to both of us.

Would it be horrible of me to say I’m thankful you’re going to rewrite this instead of continuing this? Cause to be honest, all the reminders I got of DmC Dante’s horrible personality was super painful for me to read about.

And personally, I’d actually hope you make it so that Nero is the main character instead of Dante, because I personally loved Nero in Devil May Cry 5 (he wasn’t bad in DMC4, it’s just that he was a bit too anime-protagonist for my tastes in that, even though I’m fond of anime. Plus the plot in DMC4 was obviously partly ripped off from Bleach’s Hueco Mundo arc, but with a Devil May Cry coat of paint slapped onto it. But Nero thankfully in my opinion improved in DMC5.)

Plus, I’m hoping you could somehow make it so Nero ends up with a different significant other, since Kyrie is well...I’m sure she’s a nice girl, but I’m really, really not into the damsel in distress/only there as the hero’s love interest thing she’s got going on in the games.

Plus in the Japanese language only (thanks a lot Capcom, NOT! I had no choice but to look up unofficial English translations for that book!) official prequel novel to DMC5 (as written by the game scenario writer of both DMC4 and 5, Bingo Morihashi.) called ‘Before the Nightmare’, when Nero was bleeding out on the ground of his garage after a certain someone cut off part of his arm, when Nico and Kyrie found him Nico was the one who sprung into action and used a wire as a tourniquet for said arm and grabbed Nero’s gun just in case the one responsible for cutting off Nero’s arm came back, so she could have something to help defend themselves with.

Kyrie on the other hand just held an unconscious Nero and cried while screaming Nero’s name until Nico managed to snap Kyrie out of her freak out by shouting at her to get a phone and call a doctor. So yeah, Kyrie’s not really great in a crisis unfortunately.
