Reviews for Until the Walls Break Like Waves
FiveRivers chapter 1 . 7/8
Thank you for writing, this made me cry.
Kawisdom chapter 1 . 7/19/2019
Should I beg you to continue this? Pretty please with hot fudge and a cherry on top? And fireflakes?
This was so absorbing and intense that I was a little surprised when I came up out of those last words and back into the real world. I can't imagine what comes next. Well, maybe I could try but it wouldn't measure up to what you would actually write. My mind isn't on the same wavelength.
I hope Zuko's dilemma haunts you and nags you until you really NEED to come back to this story (I'm selfish like that.) If it doesn't, thanks for the nightmares and an amazing story.
whattheDalek chapter 1 . 8/22/2018
I would not be disappointed if you continued this. I would love it, in fact. Even though it has a good ending here, it has potential for more :)
Mango chapter 1 . 10/14/2017
Damn. This was really intense. Man, I would lile to pick your brain on how you got all this scheming. You really nailed Zuko down too. Welp, now I am going to be sad cause there is nothing after this. Thanks for writing this marvelous story.
P.A.W.07 chapter 1 . 6/10/2017
I just reread this fic. Love the amount of angst in this.
Mandarin Fiend chapter 1 . 4/29/2017
really intriguing! I would be really interested in seeing what happens next, how everything would shake out :)
soupcan chapter 1 . 3/9/2017
That was one of the most amazingly engrossing fanfics I've ever read. You really seemed to have Zuko down, and there was such a great mix of thought and plot and it was wonderful.
redcat22 chapter 1 . 3/6/2017
this is my third time reading this. my heart is still bleedingbut seriously this is so good in SUCH a bad way. you'll never continue this, but man i wish you would
Lunatique chapter 1 . 11/26/2016
Wow, this is a brutal look at the turn things could have taken after Uncle Iroh's bathtime ambush (which is way too cheerful a way to put it, considering). I'm guessing Aang remained in Zhao's captivity without the Blue Spirit there to bail him out, and Katara went MAJORLY on the warpath as a result, which turned out well for Jet. The premise actually raises a number of interesting questions beginnig with Aang's fate and the cascading effects from both Zuko and Aang being in captivity. This is a particularly bleak glance at one aspect of that alternate universe, and I sort of hate you for it. :( It's a good look at how a person is broken and how they can still harbor resistance and hope, but man, is it depressing.
Marionetka chapter 1 . 10/17/2016
This is one of the best Dai Li stories I've read. Amazingly chilling, with great suspense and very emotional. I could feel Zuko's helplessness and his exhaustion, and everything!
The Dai Li are perfect in this. Human enough to be interesting and all business-like at the same time.
Well, you killed Iroh. It doesn't matter that he is technically alive. Zuko's interactions with him after the brainwashing are particularly heart-wrenching.
Thank you for such an amazing piece.
lauren.kennedy.794 chapter 1 . 7/31/2016
this is one of the most amazing works I've come by yet. I can't wait for it to continue!
meow chapter 1 . 7/16/2016
I really liked this story! :)
Convenient Alias chapter 1 . 7/13/2016
This fic is epic.
NakedKing chapter 1 . 7/11/2016
This was so great. I love the way you write and I'm so glad you wrote this. There are barely any long Zuko fics being written anymore, so when one gets written and it's so good, it just makes me really happy. Thank you!
diesfromfandoms chapter 1 . 6/15/2016
