I loved the way you handled loss in this chapter, sometimes I'm reading a story and it really throws me off when characters go through things like these and their reactions aren't quite right, but I think you did it wonderfully, I could really see myself in her situation and going through the same mixed emotions and thoughts.

The writing is this chapter was gorgeous. You did an amazing job with this and I am so happy that you posted this chapter. Thank you so much. The imagery was fantastic. Your prose flows so wondrously. I think I’ve mentioned this before but your writing is so immersive. I’m so attached to the characters, both of your own creation and the characters from cannon. This chapter was heartbreaking and it really moved me. It’s rare for me to read a fanfiction, or any story, where I care about characters and the plot THIS much. Just joined this late, but really interesting. I thought it was pretty strange that the Konoha wouldn't keep their spy-nin clan even closer. Like to make sure that they have no place to doubt.
