Well. Due to existing trends, there are really very few crossovers from the Witcher universe. "And there is fish for fishlessness and cancer" I would have thought, but not everything is so smooth ...
Many people believe that the two universes are incompatible. You know, if you approach this correctly and propose the right idea, then they will be compatible!
But as for the story itself. To be honest, she seemed rather weak to me. And judging by the fact that the author has been here for a long time, I was sure that he has a lot of experience in writing his stories.
But no. The story is full of inconsistencies and frankly weak and unfinished moments.
For example, the fact that you made such a sharp timeskip without really describing it suggests that you just decided not to bother. How many years did Naruto spend in the White Orchard? And what's more, he traveled? But it was not really revealed. And this is a big piece of omissions, more talking about the author's laziness.
The second thing I didn't like. This is what you made Naruto weak as shit! Seriously?! Do you have any good knowledge of the Naruto universe? You must understand that he fought with fukin Madara, Payne, Obito and fukin Kaguya! His physical and mental levels are several times higher than the common man. But what I see is: Naruto is injured by a simple guard, despite his regeneration rate. This is how you wanted to make fun of Geralt's death from the pitchfork of a simple guy in Sapkowski's books? Ha ha! Very funny (no.).
Then, getting such pathetic wounds while fighting the Wild Hunt, when Naruto could simply destroy them with just his taijutsu skills. He possesses incredible stamina, which allows him to have heightened levels of concentration and reaction speed. For this, shinobi are trained. He is already an order of magnitude higher than ordinary people, you must understand this!
And why am I constantly bumping into the stupid idea of exception chakra and the main component of the main character's powers? Just to put it on a par with others? It doesn't work that way! Thus, you devalue all the progress of the character, his merits and achievements, making him essentially nothing!
It would be much more interesting for me to watch how Naruto, being a god among people, reshapes this meager and wretched world of the Witcher, showing who is the boss!
And I believed that most adequate authors should understand two concepts of forces in crossovers:
1. When the main character from a weak universe is transferred to a strong universe and there he becomes stronger and improves.
2. When the main character is transferred from a strong universe to a weak one and by his presence alone influences the cornerstone events, rewriting and changing history.
Now, the character of the character is completely different from the original, this has already been noted by many people. But I'll put in my dime too. You showed Naruto as some daring sucker who tries to appear cool, but in fact he is still the same sucker, because many of his actions do not have sufficient logic or wisdom. His morality and motivation, his position in life and everything else are no longer clearly visible. The constant jumps of the character from one extreme to another are annoying. Either he does not want to kill, but after a paragraph he intends to kill someone, then he gets angry for no reason, when it is completely inappropriate.
One gets the feeling that you did not like the origin of the character and thus you are trying to compensate for this by writing your own.
The next one (not at all related to history, but rather to readers).
Why the fucking Ciri ?! Does anyone really want to pair this capricious upstart lesbian with the complex of a rebellious teenager who is offended by his dad? The only character that flashed in the games the least and was not really revealed, because sorry, we had to chase her all over the world, like the main character in Fallout 3 for his father (who, by the way, was very absurdly bailed at the end). And then they try to give her importance because of the presence of the elder blood, and that only she is the cornerstone for saving the world.
To be honest, I would have killed her in history, because she completely spoils everything with her presence. It's a shame Leo Bonhart didn't finish her off in the books.
