What a sweet lovely story . Loved having an insight into Jimmie's thoughts . It was so much fun , couldn't stop smiling . I could totally imagine the terror of a 3yr old child while speaking with FD and his total delight to know that his Papa wasn't as strict as he imagined . My heart totally melted when FD gave up his meeting for his son, such a sweet gesture. The story of how Lizzy caught her fish was a total treat to read. Keep writing and smiling :)

Another delightful and very funny story! I loved how you kept it so true to a child's perspective while giving adult readers plenty to laugh about.

This is the cutest story ever and so clever and heartwarming (excluding Lydia's poor children- but they do have the Darcy to guide them at least).
I have re-read it a few times now and it never fails to put a smile on my face. I just feel but that I never stopped to leave a comment and thank you on my previous reads.

I only wish we had more glimpses of that adorable Jimmy' mind! Or maybe a short excursion in Janey's head and a xhort story from her POV on how she views her family and parents. She seems to be a daddy's little girl through and through. HOW could any man measure up for a potential husband in her fuurr when she has the very best modele in her father?

This is such a delightful story. Fishing tales usually get bigger with each telling. I think this time Mama didn't have to exaggerate her tale one bit.

I don't know why in particular I have the picture of Darcy lying in the gras, with his arm over his face, shaking with laughter, as my favorite. But this image contains so much. It's nice, seeing them all gathered and so at ease.
