Is this discontinued? I've enjoyed the story so far and am wondering if you plan on making more.

I don't think that Hiroshi killed his own mother, did he? Because it sounds like Hiroshi is the Ripper, eating meat so that he would be able to eat human food and fit in with humans. And yet, Hiroshi defended his mother, from her boss. I don't know what father thought of Hiroshi and mother, hence I cannot discount the possibility of Hiroshi killing his father, albeit with stealth so that it would not be attributed to the Ripper. But Hiroshi's mother was like Hiroshi, he wouldn't kill her, right? Or was it an accident?
