This is such a great story! It's hard to find fics that tell about the dark side of Hotch, even though he's probably the one who would most realistically actually suffer from this, in my opinion. I love this fanfiction! The way you portray all the characters is spot on. The drama makes for good suspense too, and I like that you used actual cases to make it more realistic. You're doing really amazing work here! Keep it up!

I could picture Reid yelling at Hotch and tell him that he is eventually thinking about asking Maeve to marry him and he wants him to be at his wedding than his own dead beat dad.

I think Rossi will be angry at Hotch when he sees all those scars.

Great chapter, but I think that Emily should have told Hotch that he already covered up Reid's forced drug addiction that Hankel caused him. And I think that Reid would offer to help Hotch because Hotch didn't report him to Strauss about his drug addiction after he yells at Hotch about hurting himself.
