Such a wonderful, sad little story. And you have created good explanations for several supernatural elements in the manga/anime. Kenshin’s changing eyes, his possession of “the sight”, his “flakiness”, the ever bleeding wound on his cheek, and a better explanation of why Tomoe cut him as she died. I do hope you decide to write that sequel some day.

Poor Kenshin. Poor Yatto. I feel for them. I suppose Kenshin's story always ends sadly.

Regardless, I like what you did with this. The different ways that Yatto can cross people's paths is fascinating and I love the idea that he had a follower/friend and that Kenshin tried to build him a shrine. Stupid Nora.

I love it! One of the best Noragami fics that I have read. It fits perfectly with Noragami and Rorouni Kenshin both. I'd love to read what follow.

This is so sad. But I like sad things so I guess it's okay...? Anyway, I like the idea of Kenshin's reputation being partly built by Yato although I do wonder how Kenshin will do without Yato's presence. Perhaps he never lost the resolve Yato inspired in him. I understand why he had to lose those memories but that doesn't make it hurt any less, poor Yato just wanting to be remembered. And, oh! Nora is just so infuriating, destroying the shrine like that. One of my favorite scenes from the anime is Hiyori giving Yato the shrine. Yeah, I have a soft spot for the shrine.

Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this.

...this is the logical conclusion, but I still wish there was a bit more...The story is over, but I still feel a sense that things are incomplete. It's as if I somehow got a bad end in a visual novel...anyways, thanks for writing
